The Professional Manipulative Therapist Association was federally incorporated in 2003 in order to unite practitioners of Manipulative Medicine and Therapy in Singapore.

The Professional Manipulative Therapist Association maintains standards of education, ethics, discipline and Codes of Practice to ensure the health and safety of the public at all times. It is also committed to promoting research and enhancing the role that Manipulative Medicine and Therapy can play in the maintenance of the public’s health and well-being. The PMTA believes that anyone who wishes to provide Manipulative Therapy treatment should undertake an extensive training, regardless of any other qualifications or prior western medical training.

The PMTA website serves as a resource for both the general public and for practitioners alike. For the general public, we can assist you with more information on what Manipulative Medicine and Therapy is and how to find a practitioner in your area. For practitioners, we provide a platform to network with other practitioners, opportunities for continuing education, and a vehicle to enhance our profession.
